About the Lace House

Nestled in the historic Arsenal Hill neighborhood in Columbia, the South Carolina Lace House is a uniquely beautiful and historic home located within the Governor’s Mansion Complex. While the Governor often uses the Lace House to host dinners and other State events, the Lace House and its adjacent gardens are also available to rent for weddings, parties, meetings, and other events. The house holds many memories of Southern celebrations dating as far back as 1854, and you can add more special memories with your event -- whether it be a black tie ball or a barbeque!
