Pine Gate Renewables Launching New Dillon County Solar Project

Columbia, S.C. – Pine Gate Renewables, a renewable energy company, is launching a new solar farm in Dillon County under Freedom Solar LLC. The development is projected to bring $7.5 million of new capital investment.
 
In order to make utility-scale solar an option on a large scale, Pine Gate Renewables is intent on contributing to the broad transformation of the United States’ energy model. Based in Charlotte, N.C. with additional offices in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Asheville, N.C., Pine Gate Renewables is a U.S. solar developer that specializes in project finance, land origination, project development management and community outreach. 
 
Located at 2605 State Highway 9, the new seven-megawatt (MW) utility-scale solar farm should be operational by the fourth quarter of 2017 and will be capable of providing power to 1,500 homes.
