Columbia, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster today released the following statement in response to Congress including Senator Lindsey Graham’s Taylor Force Act as a part of the government funding bill: 

"Not a single taxpayer dollar should ever go to a government that supports terrorists. The Force family has been victimized twice, first with the loss of their son Taylor in a horrific terrorist attack, and second by having their tax dollars fund the very government that is paying reward money to the terrorist’s family. I am proud to stand with the Force family, whose loss was felt by our entire state, and appreciate the leadership they have shown, along with Senator Graham, in getting this legislation passed to honor Taylor’s legacy."
