Columbia, S.C. – Mid-States Packaging, Inc., a full-service logistics and warehousing provider, is locating new operations in Charleston County. The $5.2 million investment is expected to bring 30 new jobs to the community.
 
Mid-States Packaging was established in 2001 by Tracy Giroux-Harpin and Charles Giroux, a family that has been in the transportation industry for more than four generations. Offering a range of services such as transportation, logistics, packaging, warehousing, rail service, containers and sea bulk, Mid-States Packaging provides services to meet all supply chain requirements for its customers. 
 
To establish operations in Charleston County, Mid-States Packaging will be locating its manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations on a two-building, multi-tenant site at 4500 Goer Drive in North Charleston, S.C. Hiring for the new positions is projected to begin in the third quarter of 2017, and interested applicants should contact MS Pack for more information.  
 
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to the project.
