Columbia, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster today released the following statement in response to the statewide unemployment rate decreasing to 3.9 percent in September from 4.0 percent in August:

With more South Carolinians working than ever before and jobs being created by new and expanding companies nearly every day, we are showing that there's no better place in the world to do business or one with more opportunity for its citizens."
