Carolina Metal Finishing to Expand Lee County Operations

Columbia, S.C. – Carolina Metal Finishing, a leader in powder coating and custom metal finishing, is expanding its existing operations in Lee County. The $1 million investment is projected to create approximately 20 new jobs.

An affiliate of Paramount Metal Finishing in Linden, N.J., Carolina Metal Finishing supplies contract services for metal parts cleaning, assembly, industrial painting and powder coating. The company’s Lee County facility has been in operation since 2006 and currently employs 24 associates. 

Located at 547 South Main Street in Bishopville, S.C., Carolina Metal Finishing will be expanding its existing facility by 12,000 square feet, allowing for increased production capacity. For more information on Carolina Metal Finishing, visit the company’s website

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved a $50,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction.
