Alo Establishing Operations in Greenville County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alo, one of the world’s leading suppliers in the agricultural machinery industry, today announced plans to establish operations in Greenville County. The $6 million investment is expected to create 44 new jobs over the next five years. 

Located at 130 Monroe Drive, Alo’s Greenville County operations will include the distribution of farming equipment manufactured by the company at multiple global locations. Distribution will be mainly for the U.S. market. Operations will also include steel fabrication of made-to-order mounting kits for the agricultural equipment, as well as assembly of products and hydraulic kits. The fabrication itself will incorporate plasma cutting, machining, forming and welding.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to the project.
